The signature dish is dal bhat. I tried to create a three-dimensional effect by using a shallow aperture. The minimum focus distance of the 35mm F2 DG is 27cm, so I was able to get the rice in perfect focus even while sitting on a chair.

I attached a 35mm F2 DG to a Sigma BF and shot a road at night. First, it looks like this when shot at the same brightness as the naked eye.

Next, I increased the ISO sensitivity to 10,000 to shoot brighter. If you look at the full-size image at life-size, you can see that there is noise, but if you reduce it, it's not noticeable.

I changed to 90mm F2.8 DG and took a picture of a red traffic light.

The Sigma BF does not have image stabilization for still images, and the 90mm F2.8 DG does not have image stabilization either. Still, the noise generated when the ISO sensitivity is increased is suppressed, so you can take bright photos without blur even at night.

◆ Points of interest
The Sigma BF only has a hole on the right side for attaching a strap, so you can't attach a strap that hangs from your neck. For this reason, you need to prepare a strap that you can attach to your right wrist. It's a minus point that you can't 'hang the camera around your neck and walk around with both hands free.' In addition, this time I used a strap called '

Cuff ' by Peak Design.



In addition, since it does not have a memory card slot and uses a mechanism of 'saving photos to the built-in storage and transferring files to a PC etc. via the USB Type-C port,' it prevents the common mistake of 'forgetting to insert the memory card!' On the other hand, it is not possible to use it in a way that 'separates memory cards on the first and second days of the trip,' so you will need to get used to the way the Sigma BF works.
