◆ Synopsis of Episode 9 of 'The Part-Time Life of a Hero and a Corporate Slave'
Kuzuru, a hero and corporate slave who travels between another world and modern Japan, leads a tough but successful life. But one day, unbelievable events begin to occur in both worlds, such as monsters appearing in Japan and Japanese diseases appearing in the other world. The cause of this is a phenomenon called 'conflict.' It is said that the balance of the worlds has been upset because Kuzuru has been traveling between the two worlds so much.
To resolve the conflict, Kuzuru must complete all of the projects he is currently working on and leave the world. In modern Japan, that means completing the game that is currently in a death march. In the other world, that means defeating the Demon King. He refines his ideas until the game is complete, marches to the Demon King's castle to gather materials, brings back the information, and receives cold weather gear in return to return to the other world. In the midst of his ever-increasing workload, Kuzuru finally reaches the Demon King.
A giant demon, a dullahan, a top executive... They should have defeated all the monsters in the battles up to this point. However, the Demon King wasn't the only one waiting for them in the Demon King's castle.
The demons that the Demon King uses are beings born in the Demon King's castle. No matter how many times they are defeated, they will be resurrected in the Demon King's castle. Faced with a shocking truth, Kuzuru and his friends find themselves once again surrounded by the powerful foes they thought they had defeated.
The game is not even complete. Far from defeating the Demon King, the monsters are immortal. The damage and fatigue he had been holding back all hit him at once, and Kuzuru finally collapsed.
Kuzuru wakes up in the hospital. His superior, Valkyrie, is by his side. Valkyrie is actually a goddess who has been watching over Kuzuru through all of this.
The defeated Kuzuru is once again urged to stand up. Will Kuzuru be able to stand up once more, and will he be able to defeat the immortal army of monsters, who are too short of resources to complete the game?

A new character, Card Changer Ume, appears in episode 9. Although she only appears as a character in the story who is addicted to a game, the design was carefully planned to make a strong impression.
The squid is a rough draft of a plum blossom. Since only the name was decided in the script, the plum blossom motif was used to express brightness that brightens up the gloomy development.
We are in the process of finalizing the design while adjusting the colors. Since the motif is plum blossoms, we are considering a base color of pink and a mix of Japanese and Western clothing.
