◆ A sneak peek at the main story! Synopsis of Episodes 1 and 2 of 'The Part-Time Life of a Hero and a Corporate Slave'
'Kuzuru' continues his journey as a 'hero' in Konam, a world overrun with monsters. He is a coward and a wimp, and is the weakest, so he is ridiculed as a 'trash hero.' Thanks to his amazing companions, he manages to carry out his heroic duties, but he is beaten down both physically and mentally every day.

However, a powerful enemy called the Dullahan appears and all of his companions are killed. Lacking the courage to fight, Kuzuru is enveloped in a magical light and realizes his end.

He wakes up in an unfamiliar place. In the midst of a festival-like hustle, a beautiful woman with a smile on her face comes to his rescue.

He is taken to a certain game company. In six months, the hero turns into a corporate slave, working himself to the bone every day. Then, one day, a magical gate opens in front of him.

Konam's companions, Flare (left), Faron (centre), and Ecrel (right), came to pick him up after chasing Kuzuru.

As a result of an argument between Konam's comrades, who need a hero, and Kuzuru's colleagues, who need labor, one final decision is made: 'We'll give you the two days off a week that you've always wanted, so why don't you work here as an office worker during the week and go back home on the weekends and be a hero?'

Thus began Kuzuru's hellish double life. The monsters that once frightened him so much are now just the same old weak monsters he's seen so many times in games. With his heart completely worn out, he no longer feels any fear.

Using his experience as a corporate slave, Kuzuru faces off against monsters as a hero. He then meets his rival, the Dullahan, once again. Be sure to enjoy the shocking conclusion of this battle in the main story.

◆GSC members exclusive bonus: Show me all the hidden places
In 'The Part-Time Life of a Hero and a Corporate Slave,' character movements are sometimes depicted in places hidden by speech bubbles and text. We'll be revealing all of the 'behind the speech bubbles' scenes we found in episodes 1 and 2.
First, there's the scene in episode 1 where Kuzuru gets scared of a monster and hides behind his friend's back. The scene on the left below is the main story, and the scene on the right has the speech bubbles and dialogue removed. If you move the slider to the left, you'll be able to see the expressions of the characters hidden in the speech bubbles.
Next, there is the scene in episode 1 where Konam's friends and co-workers argue over Kuzuru. You can get a good look at the flare in the first frame that was hidden by the dialogue.
In the scene after defeating the monsters in episode 2, Kuzuru and Flare are arguing and are hidden by speech bubbles.
In the next battle against the 'Pochaim', which is immune to physical attacks, the magician Ecclell plays an active role. Behind the speech bubble, Ecclell is shown fighting alone.
At the end, there is a scene where an angry Flare and a blushing Ecreel are hiding in a speech bubble of Flare attacking a depressed Kuzuru. The reason why Ecreel is blushing should be revealed in future storylines, so please look forward to it.
