◆ Synopsis of Episode 4 of 'The Part-Time Life of a Hero and a Corporate Slave'
Kuzuru, who was chosen as a hero in Konam, a world where the battle against monsters continues, was known as 'the weakest trash hero in history.' Although he managed to get by thanks to his excellent companions, Kuzuru himself is still a timid and incompetent hero.

Meanwhile, they encounter a powerful monster called the Dullahan, and are defeated. Kuzuru, who doesn't have the courage to fight, also receives a blow from the Dullahan, and prepares for his end.

However, Kuzuru wakes up in modern-day Japan. While wandering the streets, he is picked up by a beautiful woman who works at a game company, and begins working there for the time being. In Valhalla, an ultra-black game company from which he can never escape, Kuzuru is bullied by his boss who is scarier than monsters, and ends up doing work that is harder than fighting monsters.

After that, through one twist and turn, Kuzuru won two days off per week and became a 'weekday worker, weekend hero.' The perseverance and mental strength he gained from working in a black company not only made him a respectable member of society, but also gave him the strength to be a hero. He then once again faced his nemesis, the Dullahan, and after a fierce battle, he succeeded in defeating it.

The Demon King's army became more wary of heroes after Kuzuru, who they had despised as a lousy hero, defeated a powerful monster. The Demon King sends a new assassin to 'another world, Japan.'

Lilimil appears at the workplace where Kuzuru works. She is a cute and talented new part-time worker, but she is actually a dangerous assassin who has come to discover the secret behind Kuzuru's strength and bring him down. Will Kuzuru be able to defeat his new enemy?

◆GSC Members Only Bonus Episode 4 Name Making
Below is the opening scene of the initial draft of Episode 4. The initial draft was split into two pages, but because I wanted the first page of an episode to be more than just an introduction, but a page that makes the reader think it's interesting, I shortened it so that the first page would feature a large, attractive frame of the character.

Another scene worth noting in the making of episode 4 is the 'Cosplay Battle' scene. Below is the initial draft, with the two girls showing off their cosplay outfits. It's a scene where the characters are attractively portrayed in special costumes, but since it would be a waste to have the characters not appear in the foreground, the composition was changed.

The revised name is below. Each character is drawn larger. Also, in the last panel, Kuzuru receives a back drop, but by reversing the front and back from the initial name, we can see Kuzuru's reaction, which is a small but important point.

There were other costume ideas for this cosplay battle scene. The other idea is shown below, and since the cosplay battle was held at a game company, the costumes were based on the costumes of characters from a real popular game.

As an aside, in the spin-off episode 3.5, which takes place before episode 4, Walküre is shown shopping at a cosplay shop. The outfit she chooses here is the one that was chosen as the rejected outfit for episode 4.

As a side note, when I was creating episode 4, I had

Sukoyaka , who was in charge of the original storyboards for ' Himitsu no Miyazono ', check the storyboards and give me advice. At that time, he sent me the following image saying, 'I saw a cosplay scene and I wanted to draw it,' and it became a reference for the second draft of the initial storyboard.
