The production flow of 'Manga Award Top Drawings,' which is only roughly
Two drafts were created as rough drafts. Rough 1 is a rough drawing of a man who is engaged in painting in his atelier in nature.
Rough 2 is a combination of men and women with a casual street design. It was adopted because it gives a brighter impression and seems to fit the purpose of manga.
As a rough correction, there were no problems with the 'line' part such as composition and drawing of the human body, 'I will make an illustration with rich colors, so I set the saturation and brightness so that the character would not fall into the colorful background In addition to the points of “adjusting” and “being careful of how the shadow is cast while being aware of the position of the light source”, because it is drawn well, it is like “the relationship between the characters, what they are doing now, why they are doing so” 'A device that makes you feel more like a situation story.'
The following is a modified rough. In addition to an armband that seems to be a teammate that creates the backbone of the characters, an image of playing with 'cat's point of view' has been added due to the devised composition.
The idea of the situation was good, but the strong black armband and cat's hand as a color tone may break the composition that was in place, so I left the idea and readjusted the pose. The accessories are inconspicuous at first glance, but the shape of the ring is good as a costume.
The first rough on the left, and the final rough on the right. Although the basic line has not changed, the color of the character and the background have been adjusted to make it more harmonious, and you can see that it has changed so that you can feel the context before and after.

Background and character coloring. At this point, there was some discomfort in how the female character's ankle ring was worn, so a correction was made to lower it to the ankle.
