In this case, the theme was clear and attractive at the time of rough, so adjust the poses, detailed drawing, and object layout that convey the charm of the illustration. It was decided.

First, it was drawn as a rough draft. In addition to the figure of one of the main characters, Lu, lying down holding Mel's summoned beast, Voyanai, who is the “sister”, the screen is filled with cushions, and there are many impressions.



In this rough, correction instructions were added for three main points: “details of people / objects”, “person poses”, and “avoid monotonous composition”. First, for “details of people / objects”, I instructed to draw more accurately the parts that were difficult to understand, such as body lines and cushion shapes, even though they were “rough”. In addition, the camera was too close to draw a pose that would throw the body on the bed and lie down, so the overall composition was drawn.



Regarding the second `` person's pose '', the biggest correction was made, and it is difficult to understand the shape of the held Voyanoi as it has a difficult and interesting composition of hugging a pillow that is about the height of the character and sleeping It was necessary to correct the sense of discomfort in the composition, such as the shape of the lower half of the body that sandwiched the body pillow looked out of shape. Therefore, as shown by the dotted line in the image, in addition to making the shape of the Vojanoi warp, and making the face and body a little more leaning so that you can better see that it is snuggling up to the body pillow, the entire pose is Reviewed.

Rough part 2 has two corrections: the overall composition and the fine points. Regarding the second fine point, it is particularly important how to draw the hair. The cluttering and throwing clutter is attractive, but it seems to repeat the same curve, so it must be firmly and intentionally random. It is also important to draw “hands” that characterize the characters as much as facial expressions, and for the same reason, at least one of them should have “foot tips” in the screen. The more detailed part, the more attractive the illustration can be made by adding a little bit to the ground contact surface between the feet and the bed.



Rough part 3 completed in this way is as follows.
