Animation production company ufotable has announced that it has acquired the historic building 'Former Mizuho Bank Tokushima Branch' located in Higashisenba-cho, Tokushima City. ufotable produces the 'Machi★Asobi' event, which is held twice a year in Tokushima in spring and autumn, and also cooperates with 'Awa Odori,' a representative summer event in Tokushima. The company states that this acquisition will further deepen its activities, with the aim of passing on Tokushima's historic building to the next generation and utilizing it as a new entertainment hub.
