Google's smartwatch 'Pixel Watch 4' can tilt your wrist to ask Gemini questions, can be used continuously for up to 40 hours, and is waterproof up to 50m
Google announced the smartwatch ' Pixel Watch 4 ' on August 21, 2025 (Japan time). It comes in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, and you can talk to Gemini just by tilting the watch.

The Pixel Watch 4 is available in two models: a small 41mm model with a 45mm diameter face and a larger 41mm model with a 45mm diameter face. The color and band combinations vary depending on the model. The 41mm model comes in four colors: Polished Silver Aluminum Case / Iris Active Band, Polished Silver Aluminum Case / Porcelain Active Band, Champagne Gold Aluminum Case / Lemongrass Active Band, and Matte Black Aluminum Case / Obsidian Active Band. The 45mm model comes in three colors: Satin Moonstone Aluminum Case / Moonstone Active Band, Polished Silver Aluminum Case / Porcelain Active Band, and Matte Black Aluminum Case / Obsidian Active Band. Of course, you can also swap out the bands later.
The display is dome-shaped, not flat, with a maximum brightness of 3000 nits, and the cover glass is made of 'Custom 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5.'
The exterior is made of aerospace-grade aluminum and is water-resistant up to 50m, with IP68 waterproof and dustproof properties.
The 41mm model has a 325mAh battery capacity, allowing for up to 30 hours of continuous use in constant-on mode. The 45mm model has a 455mAh battery capacity, allowing for up to 40 hours of continuous use in constant-on mode. Both models have charging contacts on the opposite side of the side button, allowing for charging simply by placing the device on the stand.
The sensors include a compass, altimeter, red and infrared sensors for blood oxygen monitoring, a multi-purpose electrical sensor for ECG apps, a multi-path optical heart rate sensor, a 3-axis accelerometer, a gyroscope, an ambient light sensor, an electrical sensor for measuring skin conductance (cEDA) to measure physical responses, a far-field skin temperature sensor, a barometer, and a magnetometer. Additionally, dual-frequency GPS provides highly accurate location tracking.
You can ask Gemini questions just by tilting your wrist, and even send commands like 'Make a music playlist for my run.'
The starting price for the Pixel Watch 4 is 52,800 yen for the 41mm model and 59,800 yen for the 45mm model. Pre-orders are already open, and shipping will begin on October 9, 2025.
