Google's genuine smartwatch 'Google Pixel Watch 4' unboxing ceremony and appearance check

The Google Pixel Watch 4, a new addition to the Google Pixel Watch line of smartwatches, will be released on Thursday, October 9, 2025. I actually purchased the Pixel Watch 4, which now features an electrocardiogram (ECG) function and access to Gemini as an AI assistant, so I unboxed it and checked out its appearance.

This time, I purchased the Pixel Watch 4 41mm LTE model (left) and 45mm LTE model (center), as well as the Pixel Watch Fast Charging Holder (right).

The cosmetic box for the 41mm LTE model looks like this.

'Google Pixel Watch 4' is written on the right side.

On the left side, it says 'Montre Google Pixel 4.' Montre means 'wristwatch' in French.

Peel off the sheet at the bottom of the back side.

The inner box looks like this.

The inner box contained two boxes as follows:

When I opened the packaging, the smaller box contained the Pixel Watch 4 itself, and the larger box contained the active band for the Pixel Watch 4.

There was a fast charging holder under the Pixel Watch 4 body.

The main body is shaped like a round disk, and there is a crown on the right side.

The back of the device has a mirror finish, and in the center are sensors that measure blood oxygen wellness, electrocardiogram, and heart rate.

There is a groove on the top for attaching an active band.

There is also a groove on the bottom where you can attach the active band. If you look closely inside the groove, you will see the words 'MADE IN VIETNAM' written on it.

On the left side is a metal charging terminal, with a speaker grill between them.

There is a hole for the built-in microphone on the right side, with the crown in the center and a side button next to it.

I took out the active band that attaches to the main unit.

The watches with holes for the band come in two sizes, S and L. The S size is for people with a wrist circumference of 130-175mm, and the L size is for people with a wrist circumference of 165-210mm.

This time I wore the L size.

The 45mm LTE model (right) was fitted with an L-size active band and placed next to the 41mm LTE model (left). While the sizes are different, the shape and specifications are the same. The S-size active band for the 45mm model fits wrists with a circumference of 150-185 mm, while the L-size fits wrists with a circumference of 165-215 mm.

The fast charging holder looks like this. It has a USB-C connection and is approximately 95cm long.

The terminal part where the Pixel Watch 4 is connected looks like this.

To charge, place the left side of the Pixel Watch 4 on top of the device as shown below.

In my next article, I'll write about what it's like to actually use the Pixel Watch 4.

[to be continued]

The Pixel Watch 4 is available in 41mm LTE models for ¥69,800 and Wi-Fi models for ¥52,800. The 45mm LTE models are available in 76,800 and Wi-Fi models for ¥59,800.
