The final chapter of the anime ' Golden Kamuy ,' based on Satoru Noda's popular manga, is scheduled to air from January 2026. In addition, it has been decided that the theatrical version 'Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Factory Arc' will be released in theaters in October 2025 ahead of the broadcast.

The synopsis of 'Sapporo Beer Factory Edition' is as follows.
After returning from Sakhalin, Sugimoto Saichi and Asirpa resume their journey in search of the gold with Shiraishi Yoshitake.
During this time, he encounters an escaped convict named Kaizoku Fuutarou and teams up with him, then heads to Sapporo to follow the trail of his new target, escaped convict Keiji Uechi.
However, in the same area, scouts from the 7th Division, consisting of Private First Class Usami and Special Sergeant Major Kikuta, as well as a group led by Hijikata Toshizo, were already searching for another escaped convict who had committed a series of murders of prostitutes.
A tense situation soon arises between Sugimoto and Hijikata, but both of them choose to cooperate, wanting to avoid the gold falling into the hands of the 7th Division.
They get information that the next murder scene is a Sapporo beer factory and put into action an ambush operation.
However, Usami and his friends, as well as Kamiezhi, show up, and the situation becomes extremely confusing!
The theme song is 'Golden Beyond' by Awich×ALI, and a special trailer featuring the instrumental version of the theme song has been released.
