Manholes designed with 12 current Japanese players belonging to the MLB have been announced. The manholes will be placed all over Japan in accordance with the players' roots, and by scanning the manholes, an AR movie will be displayed.

The 12 players who will be depicted on the manhole covers and the areas where they will be installed are as follows: Shohei Ohtani will be in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture, Yusei Kikuchi in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, and Roki Sasaki in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture, scheduled to be installed from June 16, 2025. Manholes will be installed in the names of Yu Darvish (Habikino City, Osaka Prefecture) on June 17th, Yuki Matsui (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) on June 18th, Shota Imanaga (Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture) on June 19th, Lars Nootbaa (Higashimatsuyama City, Saitama Prefecture) on June 23rd, Seiya Suzuki (Arakawa Ward, Tokyo) on June 24th, Yoshinobu Yamamoto (Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture) on June 25th, Yoshida Masanao (Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture) on June 26th, Kodai Senga (Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture) on June 27th, and Tomoyuki Sugano (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) on June 29th.
The installation of the manholes will be posted on MLB Japan's Instagram , and 'making of videos' showing the production process of each manhole will also be released.
