Beat Saber is playable on PS4 and PlayStation VR (PSVR) , PS5 and PlayStation VR (PSVR2) , but it has been revealed that updates including new songs and music packs will no longer be distributed after June 2025. In addition, multiplayer will no longer be available on both PS4 and PS5 after January 21, 2026.
However, the game itself will still be available to download and play, and any add-ons released before June 18th will still be available to purchase and play.
In addition to PlayStation, Beat Saber has also been released on Steam and Meta Quest, and updates are scheduled to continue on these platforms.
Beat Saber will end support for Meta Quest 1 in November 2024, which is likely due to the fact that support for the Meta Quest 1 system software ended in 2024.

Our passion for VR remains unwavering, and we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and what we can offer to the Beat Saber fans who have been with us for the past seven years.'
Additionally, they explained the end of support for PS4 and PS5 as follows:
This update will not affect your ability to continue playing Beat Saber and you will still have access to any content previously purchased on PlayStation platforms.
Beat Saber will continue to be available for purchase on PS4 and PS5 devices and you will be able to continue playing or purchasing songs and music packs released before June 18, 2025. However, no new content will be released on these platforms after that date.
Additionally, multiplayer will no longer be available for Beat Saber on PS4 and PS5 after January 21, 2026.
However, cross-buy between the base game on PS4 and PS5 will still be enabled.
