The eighth episode of ' Let Me Make It! ◆ 'Let me make it! Ejima-san' Episode 8 Synopsis
Kaido and Eshima belong to the 'Game Club' at a certain art university. Kaido does not hide his love for Eshima, but all of his affection is directed towards creating a game modeled after Eshima. Eshima wants people to pay attention to her, not the game, but she is unable to be honest and continues to approach him in a roundabout way, getting angry and irritated.

Winter is approaching, Ejima will soon graduate, and the relationship that was once happy just being able to talk will have to change.

With the season of farewells just around the corner, Ejima goes on a hot spring trip with the game club members and asks for some frank love advice.

Meanwhile, the men of Kaidou gather together to ask for advice. The more Kaidou falls in love with Ejima, the more impulsively he reflects this in his game development, but Ejima won't allow him to model a game after her.

Ejima and Kaido are in love with each other but are constantly clashing, but will the distance between them change even more as they soak in the heat of the hot springs...?

The image on the left shows the final part of the initial draft of episode 8. The flow itself hasn't changed from the published manuscript, but since the same thing happened in episode 5, 'Ejima becomes closer to the characters when she gets drunk,' this was changed to a quick summary rather than a full page summary.

The opening scene where Ejima appears has been changed from a close-up from the waist up to a full-body drawing. A close-up can be more appealing because it allows the character to be drawn larger, but a full-body drawing makes the character's appearance more striking.

Also, in terms of minor details, the initial draft of the game to be created in the story was something like 'a scenario where you go on a trip with Ejima-san,' but it has been changed to 'a game where an AI plans your travel plans.' Even for elements like this that are not particularly relevant to the story, it is better to have a sense of 'realism' to add depth, so it is desirable to be particular about the details to a certain extent.

A more detailed adjustment was made to the relative positions of the two characters. In the image below, the two start off side by side, but in the image on the right, they're facing each other and talking, before moving to a side-by-side position. When reading manga, it can be hard to understand where the characters are and what position they're in, but describing their relative positions in detail can feel tedious. In this episode, the flow was adjusted to deliberately depict their relative positions in detail, creating a sense of intimacy with 'Kaidou and Ejima purposely standing side by side.'
