We measured the battery life and time required for a full charge of the foldable smartphone 'Find N5' that can be charged at 80W. Review and benchmark results are also available.

The foldable smartphone '

Find N5 ' released by OPPO in February 2025 is the world's thinnest body, measuring 4.21mm when unfolded and 8.93mm when folded, and is packed with a high-end SoC ' Snapdragon 8 Elite ' and a Hasselblad camera . It also comes with a high-output 80W charging adapter, so we measured the time it takes to fully charge the battery and the battery life.

The appearance of the Find N5, how to open and close the folding mechanism, and the results of testing the resistance of the screen to scratches are summarized in the following link. Since the Find N5 does not have technical conformity certification, we applied for the ' Special System for Experiments Using Uncertified Equipment ' before starting it up.

◆Measure battery life
To measure the battery life, we left a fully charged Find N5 playing a YouTube video in full screen using OPPO's native Internet browser, connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi, and set the brightness to maximum.

9 hours and 39 minutes after I started playing the video, I got the message 'Battery is at 2%. Please charge your device.'

After 9 hours and 42 minutes, the battery level reached 0% and the device was turned off.

Measure the time it takes to fully charge
The Find N5 supports OPPO's proprietary fast charging technology 'SUPERVOOC', and can be charged at 80W. The included charging adapter is marked '80W'.

If you check the output column, you will see that it can output a maximum of 11V and 7.3A (80.3W).

The port is USB Type-A.

The included USB cable has USB Type-C on one side and USB Type-A on the other.

So, I'll charge the Find N5 with 0% battery remaining with the included power adapter and measure the time it takes for the battery to reach 100%. By the way, when you charge the Find N5 with the included charging adapter, the remaining battery level is displayed in the center of the screen for a few seconds as shown below.

Below is a graph that records the remaining battery level every 10 minutes. Up to about 80% of the battery remaining, the battery was charged at a rate of 20% or more every 10 minutes, and after 1 hour, it was fully charged.

I used

a FLIR i3 to measure the temperature of the device while it was charging. The top right corner of the large internal display was 37.1 degrees.

The area around the rear camera was the hottest, but it still didn't get that hot, at 37.4°C.

The charging adapter's side surface rises to 44.6 degrees,

The temperature around the USB port was 43.4 degrees.

Run the benchmark
The Find N5 is equipped with the high-end SoC 'Snapdragon 8 Elite'. To see how much performance it has, I ran the standard benchmark app ' AnTuTu Benchmark '.

The overall score was 2,379,798, which is higher than 85% of all users. The scores for the individual test subjects were CPU 502,220 (80%), GPU 1,011,523 (82%), Memory 449,859 (85%), and UX 416,196 (86%).

While the benchmark was running, the upper right corner of the large inner display rose to 53.0 degrees.

The angle around the rear camera rose to 53.7 degrees.

The performance of the Hasselblad camera installed in the Find N5 is summarized in detail in the following article.
