The second half of the 7th chapter of the manga ' Himitsu no Miyazono' is scheduled to be updated around February 26, 2025. The story begins when Kanon, a lonely girl with no family or friends, is proposed to by Rion, a girl who calls herself an android . Kanon and Rion have spent only a short time together and have developed a deep connection. When Rion first met Kanon, she said to her, 'Become an android just like me so we can be together forever!'. With their sudden separation coming, Kanon and Rion make a final choice.

◆ 'The Secret Palace' Synopsis
Miyazono Rion, who has the same last name as Kanon Miyazono, a girl who has been living alone, appears before her. Rion calls herself an 'android' and makes a shocking confession to Kanon: 'I'll transfer my personality to an artificial intelligence (AI), become an android just like me, and marry you!'
Kanon strongly rebelled against Rinne, whose lonely but peaceful daily life had been upended. However, when Rinne, an android, suddenly stopped moving, and when Kanon heard about the deep connection between Kanon and Rinne regarding their births, Kanon came to understand Rinne's strong feelings.
Due to her unusual birth, Kanon was always under strict supervision and was unable to make friends, but thanks to the cheerful Rinne, she was able to become good friends with her classmates. Kanon and Rinne are now living peacefully with their friends.
However, this life soon comes to an end. Rinne is an android born irregularly, and has gained freedom by using her abilities to help the government. More than 20 years ago, Rinne had to leave Earth for a project to prevent an asteroid from colliding with the Earth, and was separated from her loved ones. The same fate will come around again.
When they first met, Kanon rejected Rinne's confession, calling it impossible. Even after coming to understand Rinne, she couldn't think about it. However, faced with the sudden separation, Kanon makes a resolution.

'The Secret Palace Garden' is the original story by Sukoyaka, and the line art and color illustrations are by Boru. Boru's beautiful color pages are also wonderful, but Sukoyaka's storyboards are already well drawn, so we have collected the storyboards of the famous scenes from episode 7.

The expressions on Rinne and Kanon's faces as they realize they are breaking up. The subtle nuances in the storyboard are also reproduced in color, so it's worth rewatching the full version as well.

The opening scene of the second half of episode 7. The two frames where Rinne's facial expression changes slightly are memorable, but the emotions are also conveyed clearly even in the storyboard. In scenes like the one below where the facial expression is used to convey a strong message, I make sure to write notes to the animator explaining what I intended the facial expression to be.
Rinne says goodbye to Kanon and leaves. The color version has an emotional feel to it, but the name also gives it a nice feel, as if she's just about to disappear.
