◆ Summary of 'The Secret Palace'
Miyazono Rion, who has the same last name as Kanon Miyazono, a girl who has been living alone, appears before her. Rion calls herself an 'android' and makes a shocking confession to Kanon: 'I want my personality to be transferred to an artificial intelligence (AI) so that I can become an android just like me.'

Kanon clashes strongly with Rinne, who suddenly invades her boring but peaceful daily life.

The night they spent together for the first time, Rinne stopped asleep. Kanon kept repeating the words she had casually said the night before, 'But Rinne isn't human, is she?' Maybe she had hurt Rinne, and that was why she stopped.

At the laboratory where Kanon is taken to fix Rinne, she receives a video letter from her deceased mother. While touched by her long-awaited smile and familiar voice, Kanon is told two important secrets. The first is about her birth. The second is about Rinne's birth.

Having learned about Rinne's hidden past, Kanon also understood Rinne's strong feelings. When she called out to the sleeping Rinne with tears in her eyes, Rinne woke up easily.

And so they returned to their everyday lives. Kanon and Rinne had grown closer. For Kanon, who had been lonely before, it was thanks to Rinne that she was able to become close with her classmates for the first time.

To Kanon, Rinne is like a precious little sister, and there seems to be a slight gap between her and the loving Rinne. However, Kanon decides to accept Rinne's love, and while sighing, she enjoys her warm daily life. However, the peaceful days do not last even two days, and ominous footsteps are approaching...

◆ Members-only material 'Comics Preparation Edition'
It's been a while since the last update of 'The Secret Palace Garden', but in addition to preparing the manuscript for the final chapter, I have also been making preparations for the comic after it is completed. I will be providing materials currently in production exclusively to GSC members.
The original author came up with several cover designs for the comic. Design A below features nude images of Rinne and Kanon on the front and back covers.

Plan B is an alternative to Plan A with the logo and background placement adjusted.

Plan A has a pose and composition, while Plan C has the characters in uniforms instead of naked. Plans A to C are designs that will look good when producing a paper book version, but since e-books are basically only shown on the cover, it is preferable to have all the characters on the cover.

Plan D features Kanon and Rinne intertwined on the cover and a pattern inspired by the work on the back cover, a design that looks great both as an e-book and a paper book.

Plan E has a similar composition to Plan D, but by expanding the layout from the front cover to the back cover, it gives a more dynamic impression.

Plan E also has a design with two characters side by side on the cover, but the distance between the two is closer, creating a more aesthetic atmosphere.

Plan F is a more refined version of Plan E in terms of composition.

The cover plans will be further reviewed, and the final one will be inked by the illustrator. If you have any opinions, such as 'I particularly like this plan!', please send it to us using the manga review/opinion form and we will take it into consideration.
We will continue to release exclusive advance previews on GSC, as well as revealing secret materials that reveal behind-the-scenes information and know-how, so please continue to support 'The Secret Palace Garden.'
If you notice any typos or omissions in the manga, or any strange images, we would appreciate it if you could let us know using the manga feedback form below. Of course, we also welcome your comments on the work and any support you may have.
