The fifth episode of ' Let Me Make It! Ejima-san ', which depicts the lovey-dovey battle between Kaido, who puts all his love into making games, and Ejima, who wants him to think of her more than games, is scheduled to be updated around February 11, 2025. ◆ 'Let me make it! Ejima-san' Episode 5 Synopsis
Kaido and Eshima belong to the 'Game Club' at a certain art university. Kaido does not hide his love for Eshima, but all of his affection is directed towards creating a game modeled after Eshima. Eshima wants people to pay attention to her, not the game, but she is unable to be honest and continues to approach him in a roundabout way, getting angry and irritated.

Plan number one: get closer. You can't touch the AI Ejima on the screen, but the real Ejima has touch and heat.

Plan number two: the first date. Make it an exciting day so that you won't have time to get distracted by games.

Plan 3: Cosplay. Kaido keeps up his usual pace, so if we surprise him by suddenly cosplaying as a maid, that should throw him off his game.

Although she manages to make Kaido excited, she ends up only stimulating his creative spirit. Ejima's wish to 'have people pay attention to her rather than the game' is not easily fulfilled.

One day, all the members of the 'Game Club' at the university that Kaido and Eshima belong to gathered at a karaoke bar and started a drinking party. Since all the club members are aware of Kaido and Eshima's flirting, it seems like things won't end well.

Meanwhile, Ejima, who becomes more honest when drunk, shoots through Kaido's heart. However, Kaido is as usual, saying 'I got the drunk difference,' but what about Ejima, who usually gets angry about making a game...?

The name of the fifth episode was repeatedly adjusted to get the setup and punch line right. The fifth episode is about Ejima, who usually pokes fun at Kaido, but when she gets drunk she gives up on tsukkomi, creating a special atmosphere. For example, the following page functions as a setup for this purpose. The frame depicting Kaido being startled by Ejima, who is drunk and clinging to her, has been changed from a frame showing her simply blushing (left image) to one showing her 'shocked and dropping her tablet' (right image).

Another big change was the karaoke scene where Kaidou and Eshima are alone. Before the edit (left), Kaidou was singing to liven up the mood, but after the edit (right), Eshima monopolizes the microphone, and Kaidou watches and enjoys it.

The main reason for this change was to match the punch line. The image below has some lines and a different composition from the original version, but the punch line 'I made a rhythm game from Eshima's karaoke' was decided from the initial name. Therefore, it was necessary to have Eshima sing the song that would be the material for the game.

Also, the punch line (the last page) was pretty simple in the initial draft.

In order to make the punchline of the story using the previous setup, the content was changed to 'Although he had a great time singing karaoke when he was drunk, he is usually shy, so it has a gentle feel to it.' I adjusted the setup and punchline with the aim of creating a contrast with the drunk karaoke while still making the image interesting.
