Firefox 135 now available for all users, with ChatGPT and Gemini chat options in the sidebar

The official version of the web browser ' Firefox 135 ' has been released. This will gradually roll out features such as automatic credit card entry and access to AI chatbots.

◆Automatic translation
Firefox Translate now supports more languages than ever before, allowing you to translate pages from Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, and also includes Russian as a target language, although translation from other languages to Japanese is not yet supported.
◆Automatic credit card entry function
Previously only available in the US and some parts of Europe, the credit card autofill feature is now gradually rolling out to all users worldwide.
◆Access to AI chatbots
The AI Chatbot feature is being gradually rolled out to all users. The feature will allow you to use the chat interface in your sidebar by selecting the AI chatbot you want to use from the sidebar or Firefox Labs.

◆Removal of Do Not Track
The 'Do Not Track' checkbox has been removed from Settings. If you want to ask websites to respect your privacy, you can use the 'Tell websites not to sell or share my data' setting instead.

The 'Copy without site tracking' item in the right-click menu has been renamed to 'Copy clean link'.
◆Other changes
Certificate Transparency is now mandatory.
In addition to the above, the CRLite certificate revocation checking mechanism is also being gradually introduced.
We've added a safeguard to prevent sites from abusing the History API to create excessive history entries that would cause difficulties with back and forward navigation. Such entries will now be skipped when using the back and forward buttons unless the user initiates an action.
macOS and Linux users now have the option to use the 'Exit' keyboard shortcut to close only the current tab when multiple tabs are open in a window.
The next major version, Firefox 136, is scheduled to be released on March 4, 2025 local time.
