Samsung's smart glasses, 'Galaxy Glasses,' have been leaked.

Samsung's smart glasses, expected to be released in the second half of 2026, have been leaked. Some information, including their appearance and specifications, has been revealed.
Exclusive: This is the Samsung Galaxy Glasses
These are Samsung's smart glasses. Apparently, they're called 'Jinju' internally.

Jinju is a model that runs on ' Android XR ,' an OS for XR devices, and is planned to integrate with Google's AI 'Gemini.' It has a camera and directional speaker, but it lacks a display, and it is expected that users will check information on other devices such as smartphones. It uses Qualcomm's 'Snapdragon AR1 ' chip for smart glasses as its processor and is equipped with Sony's 12MP image sensor 'IMX681' for its camera. It weighs about 50g and has a battery capacity of 155mAh.
With Gemini integrated, it is expected that users will be able to request a variety of tasks from Gemini, such as translating signs, taking photos, checking the weather, and getting directions using Google Maps.
Regarding the release date, Android Headlines, which leaked Jinju, predicted, 'It may be unveiled at the 'Unpacked' event scheduled for July 2026. However, it's unlikely to be released immediately, and like the Galaxy XR in 2025, it's more likely to be a teaser announcement and released at a later date.'

While the Jinju does not have a display, it is reported that a more expensive model with a display, called 'Haean,' is under development. Haean may be released in 2027.
As Meta is currently ahead in the smart glasses market, Android Headlines analyzed that 'Samsung is entering a highly competitive market. With Meta, Google, XREAL, Rokid, and even Apple all releasing or planning to release smart glasses, Samsung will face very strong competition.'
