A person who encountered the set of the movie 'Elden Ring' posted a video online, revealing the appearance of a hideous scat eater.

It has been

announced that a live-action film adaptation of FromSoftware's popular action game ' ELDEN RING' will be released in theaters on March 3, 2028. Although production on the film was scheduled to begin in Spring 2026, footage from the filming set has already been posted on YouTube.

On April 20, 2026, local time, it was announced that the release date for the film 'Elden Ring' will be March 3, 2028. The cast includes Kit Connor , Ben Whishaw , Cailee Spaeny , Tom Burke, Havana Rose Liu , Sonoya Mizuno , Jonathan Pryce , Ruby Crews , Nick Offerman, John Hodgkinson , Jefferson Hall , Emma Laird , and Peter Serafinovich .

Along with the announcement of the release date, it was also announced that 'production will begin in the spring of 2026,' and now videos showing scenes from the film's set have already been posted online.

According to Shortlist , the filming location for the movie 'Elden Ring' will be the Royal Naval College Greenwich in South London, England, where the royal capital of Lodale, located at the foot of the Golden Tree, will be recreated.

Furthermore, photographs of the film set obtained exclusively by Shortlist, showing props and other details, suggest that Stormville Castle, where the grafted Godric appears, and the Realkaria Academy of Magic, where Radagon's Red Wolf and the Full Moon Queen Lenara confront each other, may also appear in the film.

In addition, footage reportedly filmed at an undisclosed location in England shows a set that recreates the 'Malika Church' featured in the game.
