A humanoid robot developed by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor won a half marathon held in Beijing. Honor's robot completed the half marathon in 50 minutes and 26 seconds.

This was only the second time a half marathon race for humanoid robots was held in Beijing. The winning time of the first race, held in 2025, was 2 hours, 40 minutes, and 42 seconds, demonstrating that the running ability of humanoid robots has improved significantly in just one year.

The fastest time was recorded by Honor's remotely controlled humanoid robot, with a time of 48 minutes and 19 seconds. However, due to a unique weighted scoring system that favored autonomous robots, the winner was Honor's humanoid robot, which recorded a time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds while autonomously moving.
