We've compiled the benchmark results and battery life for the Samsung Galaxy S26/S26+/S26 Ultra.

We tested the performance of Samsung's

'Galaxy S26,' 'Galaxy S26+,' and 'Galaxy S26 Ultra,' which were released in March 2026, using standard benchmark apps.

◆Benchmarking with

Geekbench 6
First, I installed Geekbench 6 , a standard benchmarking app for PCs and smartphones, and ran benchmarks on the CPU and GPU.

All three models share the same SoC: Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, customized specifically for the Galaxy series. It has eight cores, six of which run at 3.63GHz and two at 4.74GHz.

The scores are as follows. The highest score is shown in bold. All three models tested this time have the same SoC, the same amount of memory (12GB), and the same amount of storage (256GB). The S26 Ultra does not necessarily have a high score.

Geekbench 6 S26 S26+ S26 Ultra
CPU single core 3727 3696 3770
Integer arithmetic 3725 3694 3768
Floating-point arithmetic 3731 3699 3775
CPU Multicore 11191 11299 11164
Integer arithmetic 10849 10844 10993
Floating-point arithmetic 11855 11982 11489
GPU OpenCL 23829 21751 23039
GPU Vulkan 25223 27612 26883

Comparing the scores with other models, it's clear that the performance has steadily improved with each generation. Below are the CPU multi-core benchmark results for the S26 and a comparison with other models. It surpassed the scores of all previous generation models: the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra.

◆ Benchmarking with 'Wild Life Extreme Stress Test' in '

3DMark '
We also ran 3DMark, another well-known benchmark app. It includes multiple benchmark tests, but we tried the 'Wild Life Extreme Stress Test,' which runs the most demanding 'Wild Life' game 20 times.

While entry-level models would be too laggy to achieve decent scores, the flagship models, as expected, easily completed 20 laps with all three devices. The specific scores and fluctuations in battery life, temperature, and FPS are as follows.

3DMark S26 S26+ S26 Ultra
Highest score 7870 5586 7811
Lowest score 3667 3793 4048
stability 46.6% 67.9% 51.8%
Battery level 13 points decrease 9 points decrease 12 points decrease
Temperature change 25℃~45℃ 40℃~46℃ 27℃~44℃
FPS change 15FPS to 57FPS 15FPS to 42FPS 16FPS to 59FPS

For S26, which recorded the highest score, the score progression over 20 laps looked like this.

A comparison of frame rates between the first lap (green), which yielded the highest score, and the 18th lap (purple), which yielded the lowest score.

This graph shows the change in frame rate (orange) and the change in device temperature (red). The temperature rose to 45°C, and the device felt quite warm to the touch, almost hot.

◆ Benchmarking with '

AnTuTu Benchmark '
Although not available on Google Play, we also ran a benchmark using AnTuTu Benchmark, a widely used benchmark app.

The results are as follows.
AnTuTu S26 S26+ S26 Ultra
Overall 3851425 3752886 2426782
├CPU 1097599 1158998 1208586
├GPU 1540913 1438498 Unmeasurable
├MEM 469311 456243 404681
└UX 743602 699147 813515

In the case of the S26, which recorded the highest score, it reportedly achieved a score higher than 93% of users who ran the AnTuTu Benchmark.

As mentioned earlier, all three models are equipped with the same SoC, and their internal specifications should be almost identical. However, only the S26 Ultra failed to generate a GPU benchmark score, as it was marked as 'unsupported.'

◆Battery consumption and charging speed
The S26 family uses the same SoC, but the batteries differ: the S26 has 4300mAh, the S26+ has 4900mAh, and the S26 Ultra has 5000mAh. Nevertheless, the specifications state that all three models have a video playback time of 'approximately 31 hours,' so this time I took the S26 Ultra outside and checked how much battery it would consume while 'playing Pokémon GO, a location-based game, and using it for other purposes while walking around town,' which is more demanding than just playing videos.

As a result, the battery level dropped to 10% in approximately 7 hours and 20 minutes. Note that this is just one example; using demanding game apps will shorten the battery life, while using it only for video playback will allow for much longer viewing times.

When charging was done using a 65W output AC adapter, it was detected as 'connecting to a Super Fast Charger 3.0,' and charging from 10% to 100% was completed in approximately 50 minutes.

The SIM-free versions of the 'Galaxy S26,' 'Galaxy S26+,' and 'Galaxy S26 Ultra' are available for purchase on Amazon.
