Claude for Excel is a tool that lets you delegate complex spreadsheet and table creation tasks to AI. Users can complete tasks by simply chatting with Claude to instruct them or by selecting the appropriate action from Claude's suggestions. Claude for PowerPoint is also a tool that can automate PowerPoint operations, automatically generating slides based on user-defined appearance templates.

Excel and PowerPoint are tools that are often used in tandem, but until now Claude for PowerPoint and Claude for PowerPoint did not have a conversation integration feature, which meant that users had to re-command the AI every time they switched between apps. With this update, conversation integration between the two tools is now possible, allowing users to switch between apps seamlessly.

Then, create your presentation using Claude for PowerPoint. Because your previous work is carried over, you can automatically create slide presentations tailored to your needs without the need for detailed instructions.
Claude for Excel and Claude for PowerPoint also support 'Skills,' allowing users to record and repeat frequently performed tasks, such as 'stock analysis' and 'creating documents for clients.' Anthropic has also added a new feature called 'Starter Skills,' which compiles useful office skills. Starter Skills include skills like 'cleaning up spreadsheets' and 'checking document integrity.'
