A close-up look at the ring-sized G-SHOCK 'DWN-5600'

The tiny finger-worn G-SHOCK ' DWN-5600 ' was released on November 8, 2025. It's a very unique item, and I was intrigued by its appearance and functionality, so I borrowed one from CASIO.

The DWN-5600 package looks like this.

In addition to the case containing the DWN-5600, the box also contained a storage case and instruction manual.

The DWN-5600 comes in a case that's small enough to fit between your fingers.

This is the DWN-5600. The DWN-5600 lineup includes the black 'DWN-5600-1,' the red 'DWN-5600-4,' and the yellow 'DWN-5600-9.' This is the DWN-5600-1.

The area around the LCD screen looks like this. It follows the design of the G-SHOCK 5600 series, with a square frame displaying the mode in the upper right corner of the time display.

When placed next to a 5600 series G-SHOCK, it's clear how small it is, with a case size of 23.4mm x 20mm x 7.5mm.

The actual weight is 5g.

Below is an image of the structure posted on the official website. While being one-tenth the size of a regular G-SHOCK, it maintains the shock-resistant structure that is unique to G-SHOCK, which makes extensive use of an airtight structure. It also has a water resistance of 20 atmospheres.

The band can be adjusted to fit between 48mm and 82mm.

The model number and other information are printed on the back. The battery is replaceable. The battery is SR621SW, and replacement batteries are available on

Amazon.co.jp and other sites.

There are two silver buttons on the left side of the dial.

There is also one button on the right side.

The buttons are not just for decoration, but can actually be used to change modes. The DWN-5600 has 'Time Mode,' 'Calendar Mode,' 'Time Flashing Light Mode,' 'Dual Time Mode,' and 'Stopwatch Mode.'

Wear it on your finger.

I recorded a video of changing modes and using stopwatch mode.

The yellow DWN-5600-9 and red DWN-5600-4 are also installed, giving it a pop look.

The band side looks like this:

It's a fairly bulky ring, so it feels a bit strange for a few minutes after you put it on, but you quickly get used to it. You can type on the keyboard and do other tasks without any problems.

It doesn't interfere with gripping the handlebars of a bicycle. However, the dial is quite small, so I had to raise my arm and bring it close to my eye to check the time.

The price of the DWN-5600 on the official online store is 14,300 yen (tax included). The official online store only handles lottery pre-orders, and the pre-order period has already ended.
