Here's an example of editing using Nano Banana: First, open a photo in Google Photos and tap the edit button.

Tap the input field at the bottom of the editing screen.

Enter your edits and tap the submit button. In the example below, we've entered 'Make the photo look like a Renaissance portrait.'

After a short wait, the edited image will be displayed.

Google Photos can recognize people's faces and manage them by linking them to their names. A new feature has been added: 'Specify edits by name.' Simply type 'Clear Rayleigh's sunglasses. Open my eyes. Make Engel smile' and tap the send button.

The edits were then applied to the specified person. The natural language editing feature will also be available on the US iOS version of Google Photos, not just Android.

In the US and India, an AI editing feature using templates will also be rolled out. Each template will have its name and an example displayed.

Below is an example of how the 'Fashion Photo Edit' template works. First, select a template.

Next, enter the image you want to edit and tap the generate button.

The image was processed to have a similar atmosphere to the example while preserving the person's face.

The timing of the rollout of each feature in Japan has not yet been decided.
