Due to the growing interest in AI, the valuations of related tech companies have skyrocketed, with Nvidia, Microsoft, and Apple all having market capitalizations of over $4 trillion (approximately 610 trillion yen).
NVIDIA, a company at the forefront of this trend, has seen its stock price rise by 3% to 5% every day, and its market capitalization has finally reached $5 trillion, just three months after it became the first company in the world to reach $4 trillion.
The British newspaper The Guardian reports that, citing data from the International Monetary Fund, NVIDIA's market capitalization exceeds the GDP of India, Japan, and the UK.
The most recent boost to NVIDIA's reputation is its collaboration with the Department of Energy and Oracle to develop the largest AI supercomputers ever, Solstice and Equinox, which will be equipped with a total of 110,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs.

Blackwell GPUs were previously produced in Taiwan, but NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said that as of October 2025, all GPUs will be manufactured in Arizona. Huang said that NVIDIA has secured $5 trillion in AI chip orders over the next five quarters.

Regarding this excitement about AI, Cathie Wood, CEO of investment and management company Ark Invest, denied that it was a bubble, telling CNBC, 'If our outlook for AI is correct, we are at the very beginning of a technological revolution.'
