Apple teases new MacBook Pro: 'Something powerful is coming' - 9to5Mac

Just before 4 a.m. on October 15, Jozwiak posted to X, 'Hmm... something powerful is coming,' along with a video.

The video shows a device resembling a slightly blue MacBook, and Apple-related media outlet 9to5Mac reports that it may be a new MacBook Pro. The V-shaped opening of the MacBook Pro represents the Roman numeral '5,' which could be a hint at the arrival of the M5 chip. Joswiak also says 'Mmmmm' and hits the letter 'M' five times, which could also be a hint at the M5.

The iPhone Air, released in September 2025, will be available in a sky blue color.

The MacBook Air, which was released in March 2025, also comes in a sky blue color, so 9to5Mac predicts that a new blue color may also be available for the MacBook Pro.

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, who is familiar with Apple insider information, said Apple plans to hold a new product launch event in October 2025, during which it may unveil an iPad Pro with the M5 processor and a new Apple Vision Pro. Gurman also noted that new MacBook Pros with the M5 Pro and M5 Max are also planned, but due to the lack of mass production, they will likely be released a little later, in early 2026.

Apple's smart glasses will run VisionOS when connected to a Mac, and a lighter UI will run when connected to an iPhone. The company also plans to announce an iPad Pro with M5 and a new Apple Vision Pro in October 2025.
