'Gmailify' is a feature that allows you to use various Gmail features with email accounts other than Gmail, such as Yahoo, AOL, Outlook, and Hotmail. Specifically, it allows you to use powerful features such as Gmail's spam protection and inbox functions.

With the end of support for Gmailify, the following features will no longer be available: 'Spam Protection,' 'Improved Email Notifications on Mobile,' ' Inbox Categories ,' and ' Fast Search with Advanced Search Operators .'

'POP' allows you to open your Gmail emails in other email clients that support POP (such as Microsoft Outlook). Unlike IMAP connections, POP only works on a single device and does not sync emails in real time.

With the end of POP support, Gmail will no longer allow you to check emails in third-party clients via POP, and the 'Check emails from other accounts' option will no longer be available in the browser version of Gmail.

However, you'll still be able to read and send emails from your other email accounts within the Gmail app, as this will use the standard IMAP connection supported by the Gmail mobile app, Google explains.

Google has published instructions on how to add an email account to the Gmail app and how to migrate various email data to a Google Workspace account, so please refer to them if you are affected by this end of support.
