The biggest feature of all products is that they are equipped with Amazon's new technology, ' Retinal Vision .' Retinal Vision is a technology created by combining high-performance sensors and AI technology, and in addition to high resolution, it uses advanced image processing by AI to capture clear images even in dark places. It is said to achieve natural images and precise depiction of details 'as seen by the human eye.'

4K-compatible products are equipped with 'Retinal 4K' that supports 4K resolution, while 2K-compatible products are equipped with 'Retinal 2K' that supports 2K resolution.

The Wired Doorbell Pro is available in two models: a direct-powered model (¥39,980 including tax) and a PoE model (¥49,980 including tax). Both models feature Retinal 4K resolution, up to 10x extended zoom, low-light sighting, adaptive night vision for clear images even in complete darkness, and 3D motion detection. The direct-powered model requires installation and wiring by a qualified electrician.

The Wired Doorbell Elite is a doorbell equipped with Retinal 4K and costs $499.99 (about 74,000 yen). It does not seem to be sold in Japan.

The Spotlight Cam Pro is available

in a power adapter model (39,980 yen including tax) and a PoE model (55,980 yen including tax). The power adapter model is shown below.

The following are PoE models. Both security cameras feature a 600-lumen sensor light that automatically turns on when motion is detected. They also feature Retinal 4K, up to 10x extended zoom, and Low-Light Site, which provides full-color video even when the lights are off.

The Floodlight Cam Pro is like an enhanced version of the Spotlight Cam Pro , with the same features as the Spotlight Cam Pro but with increased brightness of 2000 lumens. It costs $279.99 (about 41,000 yen) and does not appear to be available in Japan.

Additionally, new tools will be rolled out to Ring products, including those listed above.

One is ' Alexa+ Greetings ,' a feature that allows Alexa+ to speak to visitors on their behalf and ask them about the purpose of their visit.

There's also Familiar Faces , which uses AI to identify friends and family, allowing you to be notified when someone you don't know comes in, or skip the response process if someone you know well comes in.

Also introduced is ' Search Party, ' a feature for finding lost dogs. This is a new feature that utilizes a service called 'Neighbors,' which allows neighbors to share information with each other. When someone shares information about a lost dog using the Ring app, users with outdoor Ring cameras can start a 'search party,' which uses AI to search for footage that may match the description and notifies the camera owner if the dog is found. Note that Neighbors is not available in Japan.

Ring also announced '

Ring Video Descriptions, ' which uses AI to provide a text summary of what's captured in a video. When enabled, the feature will summarize the subject and their behavior that triggered the motion alert and notify you in the app. This feature is currently available in beta for users in the United States and Canada, and will work with all Ring doorbells and cameras, including those already on the market.

Additionally, Blink, a brand of compact security cameras, has released three new products. The Blink Outdoor 2K+ is a camera capable of shooting at 2K resolution, and while it's designed for outdoor use, it offers relatively flexible placement. The Blink Mini 2K+ is designed for indoor surveillance and offers the same functionality as the Blink Outdoor 2K+. The Blink Arc is a product that combines two cameras and can capture a 180-degree panoramic view.

Jamie Siminoff, who founded Ring and stepped down as its CEO in 2023, returned to the company in April 2025. One of the reasons for his return was that he witnessed a mass shooting, and he stated that he was 'trying to restore Ring's original mission of making communities safer.'
