You can see how 'Messenger' is actually played in the movie below.

Free & browser-based delivery adventure 'Messenger' set on a small planet looks like this - YouTube

When you access the official website, it looks like this. Click 'BEGIN' to start the game.

The player takes on the job of delivering letters and packages requested by residents on a small planet.

Click the shirt icon at the bottom right to change outfits.

You can change four parts of the costume: hairstyle, top, bottom, and shoes.

The poop icon in the bottom right is an emote; clicking it will display 10 different emote icons. When you click it, emote icons will appear floating around the player. This game appears to support online multiplayer, and other players will also appear on the screen. While communication through chat or motions is not possible, simple communication may be possible through emotes.

Click on the man examining a suspicious looking box near the ship, right near the starting point.

The man is a fisherman who discovered the box in the sand on the seabed while diving to harvest oysters. He asks the player to deliver the letter inside to 'Dave,' who is near a waterfall. The messages displayed throughout the game are all in English, but they are very simple and can be read by anyone with a junior high school level of English.

So, I received a delivery job. Click the menu icon in the top right to see the jobs I have received.

You can move using the mouse or WASD keyboard controls. As you wander around, you'll come across a waterfall.

While exploring the area around the waterfall, we discovered Dave playing an instrument that looked like a sanshin.

Dave says he wrote the letter to himself many years ago.

This completes the work I received.

There are five types of jobs in total. The planet where the game takes place is so small that you can easily walk around it. Talk to residents who are in trouble here and there and receive delivery jobs.

You can also just wander around the planet, regardless of deliveries. The background music is

ambient and calming, so just wandering around the small planet is somehow relaxing.

When I completed all the tasks, the following message appeared: It took about 10 minutes to complete the task.

According to a comment posted on the social news site Hacker News, the production staff of 'Messenger' are Dutch artist Vicente Lucendo , web technology artist Michael Sungaila , and music by French artist Kevin Colombin .
