'MitchIvin XP' is a portfolio site that recreates Windows XP.

Brisbane, Australia-based graphic designer Mitch Ivin has launched a portfolio site called ' MitchIvin XP ,' which perfectly recreates Windows XP. You can browse his portfolio while reminiscing about the UI, sounds, and applications of Windows XP.

When I accessed the site, the familiar startup screen appeared.

On the login screen, select 'Mitch Ivin.'

A desktop parodying the familiar

grassland wallpaper from Windows XP was displayed.

Click “About Me.”

Ivin's profile was displayed in a Windows XP-like UI. Click 'Instagram' from 'Social Links' on the left.

The confirmation window asking 'Do you want to open a link to Instagram?' also has a retro design. Click 'Visit Instagram.'

It was linked to Ivin's Instagram account.

'My Resume' lets you view Ivin's resume in a Windows XP-style PDF reader.

'My Project' recreates the UI of Internet Explorer, a browser that will no longer be supported in 2022, as it was in Windows XP, and features web designs created by Ivin.

'Contact Me' allows you to contact Ivin about work requests, etc. The email client also has a nostalgic design for Windows XP users.

You can also launch other apps from the Start menu. Click 'Paint.'

You can start up a painting software and draw. However, at the time of writing, it was not possible to save the drawing.

In addition, the Media Player and Music Player cannot freely play movies and music, but they have a design that will make Windows XP users nostalgic and say, ``This is it!''
