'Apple Watch Series 11' released, adding 5G support, high blood pressure detection function, and sleep quality scoring function

Apple Watch saves lives by alerting you to potential serious health issues.

The latest model of the Apple Watch is the Apple Watch Series 11. One of its features is Ion-X glass.

The toughest display glass in the industry.

The ceramic coating applied to this bonds with the glass at an atomic level, greatly increasing its strength.

This doubles the scratch resistance.

In addition, it supports 5G.

Many major carriers support 5G communication for the Apple Watch, including Japan's Docomo, au, and SoftBank.

The Apple Watch Series 11 will be equipped with watchOS 26.

The new Flow watch face is a watch face designed to take advantage of watchOS 26's Liquid Glass .

The Exactograph, a modern rendition of the traditional regulator watch, is also available.

Plus, we're adding new features for heart health and sleep.

New features for hypertension, i.e. high blood pressure.

High blood pressure affects approximately 1.3 billion adults worldwide.

It alerts you to the possibility of high blood pressure.

An algorithm uses data from the optical heart rate sensor to analyze your blood vessels' response to your heart rate and detect chronic high blood pressure.

Notifies users if a pattern of high blood pressure is detected.

It is important to note that not all cases of hypertension can be detected.

Approval from regulatory authorities such as the FDA is expected soon.

The high blood pressure detection feature is expected to be available in 150 countries and regions, including the US and Europe, by September 2025.

Additionally, a new feature will be introduced to measure your sleep score.

Your sleep score is calculated based on the amount of time you sleep, the regularity of your bedtime, and how often you wake up.

You can always see how your score is calculated, so you can easily understand what you need to do to improve your sleep score.

Powered by over 5 million nights of sleep data from Apple's Heart and Activity Study.

You can track your sleep score over time using the Health app on your iPhone.

The Apple Watch Series 11's battery lasts up to 24 hours.

The body is made of 100% recycled aluminum and comes in four colors.

The 100% recycled titanium case is available in three colors.

New colors have also been added to the band lineup.

The Nike Sport Loop, which features reflective yarn woven throughout the fabric, is available in new colors: Alpenglow Pink, Volt Splash, Belted Gray, Blue Ribbon, and Midnight Black.

Hermès' new jacquard knitted watch comes with a dial that matches the strap.
