Keihan Electric Railway has announced that with the timetable revision on Sunday, October 26, 2025, it will expand the number of popular 'Premium Car' reserved seat carriages to two cars. Until now, car number 6 of the eight-car 3000 series trains was a Premium Car, but car number 5 will now also be a Premium Car, making it easier to make reservations. In addition, during weekday morning rush hours, one additional express, commuter rapid express, and limited express train bound for Osaka will be added, and the all-reserved seat 'liner' departing from Hirakatashi will be changed to a 7:00 departure from Kuzuha, with some train types and operating sections being changed. Two additional rapid express trains bound for Kyoto will be added, and the 8:13 semi-express bound for Hirakatashi from Yodoyabashi will be changed to a 8:15 rapid express bound for Hirakatashi. The operating sections of some trains will also be extended during the evening rush hour. There will be no changes to the first and last trains.
