Mistral AI's Le Chat adds 'Deep Research' mode, multilingual inference, advanced image editing features, and more
France-based AI company Mistral AI has updated its chatbot, Le Chat , with the addition of a voice prompt input mode, an image generation mode, and a search agent called Deep Research.

◆Deep Research
Mistral AI's Deep Research is an AI agent that searches on behalf of the user. It can clarify what the user wants to know, plan the search, and output answers that suit the user. In the demo video below, in response to the user's question, 'I want to buy a guitar,' it asks about the user's budget, guitar style, whether the user is a beginner, etc., and outputs the optimal answer.

◆Vocal mode
In this mode, prompts are given by voice rather than text. In the video below, you can see how the user says, 'Give me a summary of today's banking news,' and Le Chat generates the results in text.

Mistral AI introduced, 'In Vocal mode, you can talk to Le Chat just like a person, no typing required. You can organize your ideas while taking a walk, get quick answers while running errands, or transcribe meeting notes. It is powered by our new voice input model, Voxtral, which uses natural, low-latency speech recognition technology to respond at your pace.'
◆Think mode
This is an inference mode that operates based on the inference model ' Magistral '. It supports multiple languages, and you can create proposals in Spanish or explain laws in Japanese.
◆Project
A project is a display area that organizes chats into groups for easy viewing. Each project stores chat history and tools used, so you can use different projects for different purposes.
◆Image generation mode
