◆So, what kind of event is it?
Beginners are welcome, and all children can connect to one canvas at the same time and draw freely!
After you finish drawing, you can take home the results as a time-lapse video, making it a great way to create memories!
An iPad Pro and Apple Pencil will be provided at the venue, so you don't need to bring anything with you! You can participate empty-handed!
Unlike typical drawing where one person draws in silence and with complete concentration, everyone draws on the same canvas at the same time, so it feels like everyone is doodling on a blackboard, whiteboard, or even a single page in a notebook at the same time. The best part is that it's a harmonious, positive experience and memory.

This is what is known as a 'drawing chat,' but it is limited to participants at the venue, so you can doodle your favorite illustrations in a safe and secure environment.
For children, this is a great way to experience a more advanced level of drawing than the tablets they use at school, as they can spend plenty of time drawing freely with a tablet and pen that properly detects pen pressure. The tablet feels very similar to drawing on paper, so it's perfect for those who are wondering, 'My child is interested in drawing, but what would be best for them?' By spending a lot of time on it, children can clearly see what suits them.

Additionally, while the kids are doodling together, there will be a Q&A session for parents who might be bored, covering their concerns about 'Internet literacy for children, IT literacy for SNS and smartphones' that they have written down in advance in the application form. From his perspective as someone who has been teaching creative writing and IT to elementary, middle and high school students for over 20 years, he will give a presentation and impart practical solutions! He won't just give you the usual niceties, but will also share lessons and perspectives gleaned from his own experiences. This is perfect for those who say, 'When I hear lectures on Internet literacy, they just give vague conclusions like, 'Let's teach our children to treat each other with kindness,' and I have no idea what to do specifically! I'm worried because I don't know what the best thing to do is as my child grows!'
◆More details!!

This was announced during
Posters or flyers.

The venue is Onikuru

It is positioned as an Ibaraki City cultural and child-rearing complex. The name of the organizer of this event, 'Capass,' is also written on the wall.

The event venue will be the public exchange space on the top floor, the 7th floor. Let's go and check it out.

Main entrance

As soon as you enter, if you look to your right, there is always some kind of event going on, and even when there aren't, it is packed with people. Elementary school students are playing outside, junior high and high school students are studying here and there, and parents and children are walking around like crazy. No matter when you go, it is incredibly lively.

It's no wonder that the museum has had 3 million visitors in just over a year. In reality, there are days when the museum is closed, so it's a pretty incredible pace.

Arrived on the 7th floor

The floor map looks like this. After getting off the elevator or escalator, go straight and then turn left.

This is what 'Capas' on the 7th floor usually looks like. The grassy area visible through the glass windows is the rooftop plaza.

Free Wi-Fi is available.

Rehearsing to confirm placement.

We will provide iPad Pros and Apple Pencils like this, so you can participate empty-handed!

We have a large screen, so on the day we will use a projector to roughly show everyone's questions and answers about internet literacy, while also showing everyone typing away.

On the day, the editor-in-chief of GIGAZINE will be sitting in the birthday seat. Please be gentle!

It has a scratching atmosphere. You can see everyone drawing like this!

Therefore, the deadline for applications to participate in the event is 11:59pm on Sunday, August 3rd.

As the number of participants is limited, if there are a large number of applicants, participants will be selected by lottery. The results of the lottery will be sent to the email address you entered on the application form between 0:00 on Monday, August 4th and 23:59 on Wednesday, August 6th!
So, thank you for applying to participate!
