◆1: Itinerary creation using AI
This feature uses a Google feature called ' AI Overviews ' to search for information on the web and create an itinerary. For example, if you search for 'Create an itinerary to enjoy nature in Costa Rica' on Google, you'll see an itinerary with information like 'Here's where you should go on days 1 and 2,' recommendations on tourist attractions and food, and links to continue exploring on the web. Previously, it only showed overviews of cities like New York and Rome, but in the future itineraries for entire regions and countries will also be displayed.

At the time of writing, the itinerary creation function is only available within the United States.

◆2: Hotel price tracking
Google's hotel search feature will now have a new option to track prices for your selected dates. Once enabled, you'll receive email updates when prices drop significantly. The feature will be rolled out globally.

◆3: Google Maps screenshot analysis
When you take a screenshot of a landscape or a website with a description of a tourist spot or other location and load it into Google Maps, the places shown on the screen will be detected and users will be able to add each place to a dedicated 'list'. Places added to the list will be displayed on the map, so you can easily check the location and share the list with friends. This feature will first be rolled out to the English version of iOS in the United States, and will soon be available on Android.

◆4: Creating travel tips using Gemini
This is a function that lets the AI think about where to go and what to do. For example, you can ask it to 'find the cheapest airfare to Europe and YouTube videos about things you can do within your budget in each place.' In addition, you will be able to set up ' Gems ,' a function that allows you to customize Gemini to create an AI agent that suits your needs, as a travel planner.

◆5: AI tour guide using Google Lens
The AI-generated overview will be integrated with Google Lens, a feature that allows you to take a picture of an object and find out what it is, to easily search and translate road signs, tourist attractions, restaurant menus, etc. It is already available in English, but will soon be expanded to Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and more.
