I tried a hamburger made with Osaka Wagyu beef and an acai bowl made with Kintetsu strawberries at the handmade burger shop 'Toriko Burger'

The product lineup of
At the time of writing, Toriko Burger only has one store, 'Toriko Burger Kitanoda Store.' It is located at 2-10 Omino, Higashi-ku, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, a few minutes' walk from Kitanoda Station .
Arrived at Toriko Burger.
This time, I was allowed to see how the Naniwa Kurogyu Wagyu Burger is made in the kitchen. This is the patty before it is cooked.

The patties are grilled on a hot plate. They are made from 100% beef and do not contain any flour or other binders.

Transfer the cooked patties to a tray.

Next, brown the buns in a toaster.
These are the vegetables that go into the burger.

Vegetables are not pre-cut but are delivered whole and cut up in-store.

Spread onions over buns.

Set the patty on top of the onions.

Also top with three pickles.

Then, spread the soy sauce-based sauce on it.

Additionally, it is topped with cabbage and sliced onions.

Spread sauce over the onions as well.

Finally, cover with the bun and it's done.

The finished 'Naniwa Kuroushi Wagyu Burger' looks like this.

I ordered a set of 'Naniwa Kuroushi Wagyu Burger' and 'Haruka Smile Squash' and had it delivered to my seat. The price of the 'Naniwa Kuroushi Wagyu Burger' is 1000 yen including tax, and the price of the 'Haruka Smile Squash' is 450 yen including tax. If you order a drink set, the 'Naniwa Kuroushi Wagyu Burger', 'Haruka Smile Squash' and one side dish will cost 1530 yen including tax.

This time I chose french fries as a side dish.

When you try the 'Naniwa Kurogyu Wagyu Burger,' you'll find that the patty, made from coarsely ground beef, has a firm texture, allowing you to fully enjoy the 'feeling of chewing meat.' The soy sauce-based sauce gives it a familiar sweet and spicy flavor, which is also good. It contains a large amount of vegetables, but the meat has a strong flavor, so the sweetness and umami of the beef stand out without being overpowered by the vegetables. Another nice point is that thanks to the large amount of vegetables, you can enjoy the fat of the beef while still having a refreshing aftertaste.

The fries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Using the techniques of Hoka Hoka Tei, they are delicious even when cooled down.

The Haruka Smile Squash looks like this: lemonade mixed with carbonated water and topped with chopped Haruka Smile.

When you drink it, you can feel the sweetness and aroma of strawberries along with the refreshing sourness of the lemonade. Haruka Smile is sweeter than regular strawberries, so you can enjoy the strawberry flavor without being overpowered by the lemonade. When it goes on sale, it will be served with a thick straw like those used for tapioca drinks.

The interesting thing about 'Haruka Smile Squash' is that the pink color of the strawberries changes into the lemonade as time passes. If you compare 'Craft Lemonade' (left) without strawberries with 'Haruka Smile Squash' (right), you can see the difference in color.

I also had them make the 'Haruka Smile Acai Smile Bowl,' which is topped with acai, Haruka Smile and bananas.

Haruka Smile is not topped with syrup, but it is still sweet enough as is. It has a mild sourness compared to other strawberries, and is characterized by its strong sweetness.

The acai portion does not contain yogurt or other ingredients, but is made only with acai and syrup to enhance the sweetness, so you can taste the fibrous, powdery texture of the acai. It was a finished product that made the most of the original flavor of the ingredients, making you realize, 'This is the original taste of acai.'
