Introducing the personal AI 'Pi' with an IQ roughly equivalent to that of GPT-4, with less than half the computational power, and the underlying model 'Inflection-2.5'
Inflection, a leading AI company, has announced the release of Inflection-2.5, a platform model that dramatically improves the capabilities of its generative AI, Pi, a personal AI optimized for each user.

Pi is an AI that can converse through Android and iOS smartphones, browsers , etc., and also supports Japanese.
According to Inflection, Pi has 1 million daily active users and 4 million monthly active users. The average conversation time is 33 minutes, with one in 10 users talking for over an hour, and 60% of users return to Pi the following week. Pi scores higher than competing services in user satisfaction indicators.
The Pi's popularity is driven by its underlying model, Inflection-2.5. Despite training using 40% of the compute power of GPT-4, and only 4% of its predecessor, Inflection-1, Inflection-2.5 achieved comparable scores to GPT-4 on the Massive Multi-task Language Understanding (MMLU) dataset, which measures multitasking performance, and on the Diamond dataset, Google's benchmark GPQA (Baselines and analysis for the Google-proof Q&A), which requires graduate-level knowledge.

Inflection-2.5 not only excels in math and science, but also in coding, achieving significant improvements over Inflection-1 on the coding benchmarks MBPP+ and HumanEval+.
