The anime 'Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World 4th Season' and Tottori Prefecture have formed a dune alliance, and I witnessed the signing ceremony between the cast and Governor Hirai.

Arrived at Tottori Station.

Buses bound for Tottori Sand Dunes depart from platform 0 in front of the station.

The '39' route to Sakyu Kaikan operated by Hinomaru Motor Co., Ltd. and Nihon Kotsu takes 29 minutes and costs 380 yen, while the 'Loop Kirin Shishi' takes 25 minutes and costs 400 yen. If you plan to use the 'Loop Kirin Shishi' for both the outbound and return journeys, it is more economical to purchase a 700 yen one-day pass.

If you get off at the 'Sakyu Kaikan' bus stop, the Tottori Sand Dunes Visitor Center will be right in front of you.

Inside the visitor center, there was a stamp station and life-sized cutouts of Subaru and Emilia. Stamps were also available at four other locations, and collecting stamps from three locations would get you an original postcard. Collecting stamps from all five locations would get you a limited edition 'Emilia' sand stand (limited to the first 1000 people). A line had formed as soon as the visitor center opened at 9am.

Appearing at the press conference were Yusuke Kobayashi, who plays Natsuki Subaru; Rie Takahashi, who plays Emilia; Takuya Eguchi, who plays Julius Euclius; and Konomi Suzuki, who is in charge of the opening theme.

Tottori Prefecture Governor Shinji Hirai appeared wearing a Subaru jersey.

Governor Hirai expressed his excitement for the collaboration, saying, 'Let's have a great world experience starting from Tottori.' He also showed off the 'Emilia' sand stand that can be obtained by collecting stamps from five locations.

The sand relief created for the collaboration campaign was also unveiled.
The reliefs featuring the main characters will become a photo spot at Yumeminato Tower in Sakaiminato City, one of the stamp locations, starting April 20th (Monday). Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World 4th season is a story about aiming for a tower at the edge of the Augria Sand Dunes, and Tottori Prefecture is also 'far beyond the Tottori Sand Dunes where Yumeminato Tower is located,' so it's essentially a Re:Zero story as well.

Re:Zero features the Augria Sand Dunes, and Tottori features the Tottori Sand Dunes; since both locations are home to sand dunes, a signing ceremony for the 'Sand Dune Alliance' was held.

According to the 'Otherworldly 'Dune' Alliance Agreement,' the Dune Alliance aims to promote friendly relations forged by the dunes, and to foster mutual development across time and space, as well as enhance the experiences of travelers, adventurers, and visitors. Since it will take effect from the date of signing, Re:Zero and Tottori Prefecture are truly dune buddies.

Finally, a photo session was held on the sand dunes.

Governor Hirai promotes Tottori with the slogan, 'An alternate world Tottori is a 'great world'.'

The collaboration campaign will run from April 19th (Sunday) to August 31st (Monday), 2026.
The 'Re:Zero Tottori SNS Campaign' will also be held, where participants can follow both the official Tottori Prefecture account and the official Re:Zero account on X, and post photos of 'places related to Re:Zero in Tottori Prefecture' with the designated hashtag for a chance to win original goods such as signed T-shirts, tumblers, and acrylic stands (a total of 18 winners).
Please take this opportunity to visit Tottori in another world.
