On April 3, 2026, McDonald's Turkey announced 'Archie,' a device inspired by the Golden Arches. This device attaches to the analog stick of a controller, allowing players to continue controlling their character even when they are temporarily away from the screen ( AFK ).
Ozdeş Donen Altak, Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald's Turkey, explained, 'When playing online games, especially during intense moments, stepping away from the game screen can directly disrupt the flow of the game. As a result, many gamers employ various workarounds. We took this behavior as insight into gamers and decided to offer Archie as a gift to customers who order the Pro Gamer menu.'
The Pro Gamer menu, which includes Archie, is a set meal consisting of a Big Mac, medium fries, medium Coke, and 8 onion rings, and is only available for delivery. As of the time of writing, the Pro Gamer menu is only available at McDonald's in Turkey.
