Google completes acquisition of Wiz, joining Google Cloud

It has been revealed that Google's acquisition of the AI security platform

Wiz was founded by former Microsoft employees Assaf Rappaport, Ami Luttwak, Yinon Costica, and Roy Reznik, and has expanded by acquiring smaller security startups.

Google plans to integrate Wiz's platform into Google Cloud and strengthen its AI-powered security platform.

For example, Wiz analyzes your environment and builds a real-time map of your application architecture, permissions, data flows, and more, identifying inappropriate exposure areas and exploitable attack vectors, prioritizing risks based on business impact, and enabling you to fix issues before the application is deployed to production.
