As part of its annual survey of audio habits, a team led by Morgan Stanley analyst Benjamin Swinburn looked at whether people listen to AI-generated music and, if so, how much time per week they spend listening to it.
The results showed that a staggering 50-60% of American listeners aged 18-44 listen to AI-generated music, spending between 2 hours and 30 minutes and 3 hours per week listening to it, with YouTube and TikTok being the most popular platforms for listening to AI-generated music.
