A taste review of 'Black Thunder Bite-sized Plenty of Nuts/Plenty of Fruits' that is rich in flavor and packed with nuts and fruits

From Yuraku Confectionery's Black Thunder series, ' Black Thunder Bite-sized Nuts ' and ' Black Thunder Bite-sized Fruits ' will be available at 7-Eleven from Tuesday, December 23, 2025. I had the opportunity to try them a little earlier, so I tried to see what they actually tasted like.

The Black Thunder Bite-sized Plenty of Nuts and Black Thunder Bite-sized Plenty of Fruit packages look like this.

First, try eating a Black Thunder bite-sized cookie with plenty of nuts.

The back of the package clearly states that almond biscuits, cashew nuts, almonds, hazelnut praline and almond paste are used, and the ingredients are also listed.

The calories are 260kcal per 46g bag.

I took the contents out of the bag. There were seven bite-sized blocks.

Since it contains nuts, I expected it to have a crunchy texture, but in reality it has a light, crunchy texture. The aroma of almonds can be clearly felt along with the chocolate. One of the editorial staff who tried it commented, 'I'm not good at the texture of chocolate with almonds, but this one has a nice, finely-grained almond texture, so it's good.'

Next up is a bite-sized Black Thunder with plenty of fruit.

It contains cocoa cookies, raisins, apple powder, banana powder, and dried orange.

The calorie content was 247kcal per 46g bag.

I took the contents out of the bag. There were seven bite-sized blocks, each the size of a Black Thunder. Compared to the generous amount of nuts, the chocolate on top seemed a little darker in color. The moment I opened the bag, I was hit with a fruity apple-like aroma.

When I tried it, the sweet and sour scent of apples and grapes from the raisins spread softly, and I could feel the slightly sour orange flavor from behind it. The gorgeous aroma and refreshing acidity go well with the chocolate, giving it a luxurious feel. One editorial staff member who tried it commented, 'The fruit flavor is solid, and the raisins have a crunchy texture, which goes well with the sweet chocolate,' but another editorial staff member said, 'The orange scent lingers even after eating it, which is a bit of a problem,' so it seems that opinions are somewhat divided.

Black Thunder Bite-Sized Nuts and Black Thunder Bite-Sized Fruit will be available at 7-Eleven stores nationwide from December 23, 2025. Both are priced at 213 yen (tax included). They're limited in quantity, so if you're interested, be sure to check them out early.
