According to the official Godzilla X account, the new film will be the first in the Godzilla series' 70-year history to feature a 'boy who possesses Godzilla's powers' as the protagonist.
The Godzilla series, which began with a special effects film released in 1954, has seen a wide range of development, including animation and Hollywood film adaptations. Chibi Godzilla, which began in 2018, has been used in web and TV animations, as well as in intermissions in theaters and in etiquette commercials.
