In 2015, he co-founded Verily , a life sciences research institute run by Google's parent company, Alphabet. In 2018, Bajaj became CEO of Foresite Labs, an incubator for AI and data science startups. However, according to sources interviewed by The New York Times, he left Foresite Labs to focus on Project Prometheus.
