Battery Status: Shows the exact battery level of your AirPods on your smartphone screen.
Head Gestures: When you receive a call while wearing AirPods, nod to answer the call or shake your head to reject the call.
Conversation detection: Automatically lowers the volume on your AirPods when you start talking.
Hearing assistance: Provides hearing assistance for people with mild to moderate hearing loss.
Customize Transparency mode: Customize Transparency mode to let you hear your surroundings.
Multi-device connection: Connect up to two devices.
More customization: Rename your AirPods, customize press and hold actions, all accessibility settings, and more.
All unique features are available on AirPods Pro 2 , and all unique features except heart rate measurement are available on AirPods Pro 3. Basic features such as battery status and automatic ear fit detection are also said to work on other AirPods models.

Screenshots have also been released showing how LibrePods can be used to enable AirPods' unique features on Android devices.

With LibrePods, you have access to a variety of features, including automatic ear-wear detection.

You can also check the remaining battery level.

Features such as head gestures were also enabled.

To use LibrePods on an Android device, you'll need a rooted device with Xposed installed. Additionally, if you want to use features like multi-device connectivity, customizable external sound capture modes, and hearing assistance, you'll need to use Xposed to change the Bluetooth Declaration ID (Bluetooth DID) manufacturer ID to Apple.
