'Toy Story 5' teaser trailer released: What is Woody and the other toys afraid of?

A teaser trailer for ' Toy Story 5 ,' the latest installment in Pixar's popular animated film series, has been released. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters in the United States on June 19, 2026.

The video begins with the line, 'Bonnie! I have a gift just for you.' In ' Toy Story ,' ' Toy Story 2 ,' and ' Toy Story 3 ,' Woody and the other toys were owned by Andy, but in ' Toy Story 4 ' (technically the end of Toy Story 3), Bonnie became their new owner.

What emerged from the box was what appeared to be an educational tablet for children. 'Hello, this is Lily Pad! Let's play!' it said cheerfully.

Toy Story 5

Woody and Buzz Lightyear also look confused. Will the tablet take away the toys' homes?

The film will be released in theaters on June 19, 2026, but will not be available on streaming services. It is scheduled for release in Japan in the summer of 2026.
