The roadmap below also reveals that the Zen 6 generation, including the next-generation desktop Ryzen CPU 'Olympic Ridge,' the next-generation mobile Ryzen CPU 'Medusa Point,' and the next-generation EPYC CPU 'Venice,' will be the industry's first mass-produced CPUs to use TSMC's N2 process node. The release of the Zen 6 generation CPUs is again expected to be around 2026.

According to AMD's Chief Technology Officer, Mark Papermaster, the EPYC Venice design is already complete. Papermaster emphasized that 'the Zen 6 architecture for high-performance platforms and the efficiency-focused Zen 6c architecture both deliver improved performance through improved power efficiency and inter-process communication (IPC), and offer more AI capabilities across the Ryzen and EPYC series.'
The roadmap also includes the name 'Zen 7.' It is unclear when the Zen 7 generation CPU will be released at the time of writing, but it is indicated that it will be at least after 2026. The roadmap shows that the design is centered around a 'new matrix engine' and 'AI data format extensions.'

Details of the next-generation gaming GPU following the RX9000 series have not been revealed at the time of writing. However, the next-generation gaming GPU is not called 'RDNA 5,' suggesting that the next-generation architecture may not be part of the RDNA family.

Regarding data center GPUs, the existence of the Instinct MI500 series has been revealed as the next generation of the Instinct MI400 series, which has been announced to be released in 2026.

AMD is currently developing the Helios rack server, which incorporates the EPYC Venice and Instinct MI400 series, and is positioning it as a model to compete with NVIDIA's Vera Rubin .
