Below is a product image of the AM9C1 E1.A modular SSD. The AM9C1 E1.A is an automotive SSD developed with mass production in mind, featuring Samsung's 8th generation V-NAND and a PCIe Gen4 NVMe controller. The NAND chip and SSD controller are designed to be replaceable, allowing for later upgrades. It also features a highly durable design that can withstand shock, vibration, and temperature fluctuations, making it ideal for demanding automotive applications.

The ultra-compact PM9E1 M.2 22x42 SSD was also selected for a CES Innovation Award. The PM9E1 M.2 22x42 is an incredibly compact SSD measuring just 22mm x 42mm, yet boasts high transfer speeds of up to 14.8GB/s sequential read speed and 13.4GB/s sequential write speed. It uses V8 TLC V-NAND NAND chips and is equipped with Samsung's proprietary SSD controller, Presto.

Samsung's LPDDR6 memory also won a CES Innovation Award. Manufactured using a 12nm process, Samsung's LPDDR6 memory achieves speeds of up to 10.7Gbps, and its dynamic power management system improves power efficiency by 21% compared to previous products.

Details of modular SSDs and ultra-compact SSDs are expected to be announced at CES in January 2026.
