Overseas media chooses the 'Top 10 Worst Pokemon of All Time' - which Pokemon took the dishonorable top spot?

Polygon, an overseas gaming media outlet, has selected the ' 10 Worst Pokémon of All Time ' based on their own opinion. As Polygon states, 'We apologize if we've selected your favorite Pokémon,' it's important to note that this list is based solely on their own opinion.

At the time of writing, the official Pokédex lists 1,025 Pokémon. Research has revealed that among this vast number of Pokémon , there are some that have no fans at all .

With the release of ' Pokémon LEGENDS ZA ' and the popularity of Pokémon on the rise, Polygon has dared to select the 10 'worst Pokémon of all time.'

◆10th place: Unown

Polygon said of the Unown, 'Let's start with a Pokémon that's likely to be controversial. In theory, having 28 Pokémon representing letters of the alphabet (and ! and ?) is super cool. But in the game, it has a different meaning. I don't want to collect them all.'

Furthermore, Polygon points out that the Unown series is a nightmare for completionists who want to complete their Pokédex. Indeed, Polygon points out that getting all 28 Unown is 'really hard work.' It requires solving puzzles, searching for unique locations or rooms for each letter, or even simply trading. This is especially true if you want to get each shiny Unown. 'Unown's low stats and limited ability to use a single move make them virtually useless in battle. Please, Game Freak, please release an evolution of Unown in next-gen titles,' Polygon argued.

◆9th place:

Lopunny

Polygon explains why they ranked Mimilop ninth: 'Mimilop has become one of the worst Pokémon because of fans. Stop being so greedy about Pokémon. Mimilop is a normal type and not particularly strong in battle.'

◆8th place:

Mukkuru

Polygon explains why it ranked Smirk at number eight: 'Most generations of Pokémon have featured Pidgeot-like Pokémon. These are not very strong Flying-type Pokémon that you encounter early in each series. Unfortunately, Smirk is the worst of them all, and just plain boring. Pidgeot could make the list, but its evolution, Pidgeot, is pretty cool. By this logic, Smirk is cool as well (and its evolution, Smirk , is cool). Smirk , which appears in Pokémon LEGENDS ZA, has the unique ability to evolve into a Fire-type Pokémon. Smirk evolves into Smirk , which deserves to be ranked in the top 10 of all-time Pokémon. So, sorry, but Smirk is boring. Smirk's final evolution, Smirkhawk, is no match for the other final evolutions. No one would choose Smirk over Smirk, a fellow Gen 4 Pokémon.'

◆7th place: Belobelt

Bellowt was a surprise evolution of Bellowing from the first generation of Pokémon, and some have even pointed out its hilarious appearance in the

Detective Pikachu movie.

However, 'Why is Belobel's tongue so hard? And why does he have a Wi-Fi mark on his stomach? Why is he an Elvis Presley-style pompadour? The mystery about Belobelt is endless. Also, the name 'Lickilicky' overseas is a Judge Linder meme . 'Polygon pointed out.

◆6th place: Miltank

Miltank is known as the partner Pokémon of Gym Leader

Akane , who appears in 'Pokémon Gold and Silver.' Polygon points out that in 'Pokémon Gold and Silver,' Miltank is far more difficult to defeat than any other Pokémon that has appeared up to that point, with a high level and incredibly high stats. Akane's Miltank also has a flawless moveset consisting of 'Roll,' 'Stomp,' 'Milk Berry,' and 'Fascinated.' Polygon points out that 'while recent Pokémon seem a little too easy, Akane's Miltank went too far.'

◆5th place: Akujiking

Regarding Akujiking, Polygon wrote, 'Visually it's pretty cool, which isn't true for all Ultra Beasts. But to be honest, the name 'Guzzlord' (the overseas name for Akujiking) is painful. Imagine if Pokemon actually existed and you had to shout 'Go, Guzzlord!' every time you went into battle.'

◆4th place:

Hagigishiri

Polygon compared Hagishiri to other fish Pokémon, saying, 'There are many cool-looking fish Pokémon, but Hagishiri is just ridiculous looking. Compare it to fish Pokémon such as

Azumaou , Kibania , Ziranth , and Baslao . Even Magikarp has a much better design even before it evolves into Gyarados. Hagishiri looks like someone accidentally spilled paint on an unsuspecting fish, reminiscent of the colorful glow sometimes seen in puddles of gasoline.'

◆3rd place: Cleffi

'Clefairy,

Vanillitch , and Yabukron are similar, but Vanillitch and Yabukron are within the acceptable range, but Clefairy is the worst example of the idea of 'making household items into Pokemon.'' Polygon pointed out that although it's not bad in battle, its design is too ordinary and it doesn't evolve, so it's not very fun to put it in your Pokemon.

◆2nd place: Onbat

Polygon originally considered including

Zubat in their list of the 10 worst Pokémon of all time, citing its 'insanely annoying nature, appearing on Mount Moon and in caves.'

Polygon points out that Onbat, which is in a similar situation, not only needs to evolve to level 48, but also has to fight in a weak state for a long time. Furthermore, even if Onbat evolves, its move set is disappointing. Therefore, Polygon says, 'Zubat 2.0 was really unnecessary.'

◆1st place: Surfgo

Regarding Surfgo, which was selected as the worst Pokemon, Polygon succinctly wrote, 'It's just a thick, scalloped cheese. What more do I need to say?'
